How to Get There

Judd Falls is most accessible from Crested Butte or Mt. Crested Butte. From either of these towns, take Gothic Road north past Mt. Crested Butte. Once you pass the tiny town of Gothic off the West Elk Loop Scenic Byway, park at the Copper Creek lot on the right side of the road. If you’d rather park closer to the trailhead, there is parking located farther up the road, but it is only accessible via SUV.
